We have a number of kitesurfing courses to suit your budget and ability, typically a zero to hero course consists of 3 x 3hr lessons 1:1 done over 2-3 days depending on wind,  the first. All Equipment is provided for your lesson including the latest 2020 kites, boards, harnesses and wetsuits.

Discovery Course

3 hours

Discover course is the perfect introduction to kitesurfing and designed to elevate your water sports experience! No experience is needed and lessons are done on the beach and in the water. We follow the IKO Kiteboarding programs, which are designed to help you learn in a safe way. Our IKO instructor will respect your rhythm and take you through all the steps to reach your goals, During this lesson you will learn

  • Know safe wind directions and conditions for kiting
  • Know hazards on a spot
  • Know the use of safety systems
  • Basic flying
  • Launch and land the trainer kite with an assistant
  • Pre- flight check equipment and settings In flight check equipment and settings Understand and Use the international communication signals
  • Launch and land the kite to an assistant and as an assistant (4/5-line de-power kite)
  • Carry and handle the kite properly.
  • Assist with launch of LEI kite.
  • Control the LEI kite hooked into the harness.
  • Your first bodydrag downwind in waist deep water
  • Self rescue exercise

Zero to Hero

This is the full and most popular course to get you up and riding! Starting from total beginner to getting on the board and riding both directions. Progress is different for every student, but this is generally enough for most people. During this lesson you will learn

  • Know safe wind directions and conditions for kiting
  • Know hazards on a spot
  • Know the use of safety systems
  • Basic flying
  • Launch and land the trainer kite with an assistant
  • Pre- flight check equipment and settings In flight check equipment and settings Understand and Use the international communication signals
  • Launch and land the kite to an assistant and as an assistant (4/5-line de-power kite)
  • Carry and handle the kite properly.
  • Assist with launch of LEI kite.
  • Control the LEI kite hooked into the harness.
  • Your first bodydrag downwind in waist deep water
  • Self rescue exercise
  • Body drag with the board (to retrieve your board if you fall off)
  • Make powerstrokes with the kite in deep water
  • Steady pull (getting the board of your feet while stabilizing the kite)
  • Waterstart
  • Controlled stop
  • Ride in both directions
